Registration for tryouts for the NUGS 2023 Fall Pre-Season team for higher skilled players is NOW OPEN.
NUGS 2023-24 tryouts will be Sat. Aug 12 & Sat. Aug 19 from 12:15pm-1:50pm at South Metro Sports, with season running from Aug-Oct. Coach Tony Morris has done a phenomenal job with this elite pre-post team!! Registration for NUGS tryouts is OPEN & players must register & pay online. Tryouts are: Session 1: at South Metro Sports, Saturday August 12 at 12:15pm – 1:50pm; and Session 2: at South Metro Sports, Saturday August 19 at 12:15pm – 1:50pm.

Cost $50 per player (covers both sessions- no single session option). Players are encouraged to make both sessions, but tryouts are scheduled a week apart to accommodate vacation schedules, ACT/SAT exam days, etc. so only one session is required. Please keep in mind that the schedule will be subject to changes due to government mandates, etc. Season fees will be based on practices and games played. As with last year, the same note from Head Coach Tony Morris: “As with last year, I have reached out to several teams and it appears we can make a schedule. I’m not 100% sure how many games we will get in at this point but we will try our best to get as many games as possible on the calendar. Shooting for 15. Playing teams like the PHA Prowlers, Westerville, Dayton Stealth, NKY, NE Storm, and Team Cbus. ”
